Responsibilities

Play an integral role in the daily scheduling activities of our clinical services staff (i.e. RNs, Tech’s, etc.), while ensuring coverage that includes emergency cases, confirming scheduled cases to hospital customers, and initiating/reviewing intake information from customers on all new patients.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing work schedules for clinical services staff and coordinating web appointments
  • Tracking employee time cards and managing attendance and vacation
  • Recommending improvements on organizational process and internal structure
  • Ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in stock and supporting the alignment with NYBC, FDA, AABB and FACT state regulations
  • Preparing work schedules for Clinical Services mobile staff for approval by management
  • Ensuring all pertinent patient information is captured and conveyed to appropriate manager/designee
  • Managing all documentation from CAS and PAT staff to ensure timely submittal and participation in the daily reconciliation and review of paperwork
  • Providing billing and data entry support for administrative tasks as assigned
  • Performing other related functions as necessary

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have a High School diploma (AAS degree preferred), and at least 3-5 years of medical or health care related experience. Knowledge of basic medical terminology along with hospital practices, policies and procedures will be expected, as will PC proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite), and superior analytical, problem-solving, organizational and oral/written communication skills.
