About the role:

Are you a skilled driver with a heart for service? We’re looking for dedicated drivers who will be instrumental in achieving our blood collection goals and supporting our life-saving mission.
In this role, you will be on the front lines, ensuring the efficient setup, operation, and takedown of mobile blood drives. You will use your communication and customer service skills to build strong relationships with hospital and vendor staff as you deliver and transport blood and blood products. A successful driver will also need exceptional problem-solving skills to manage weather-related driving challenges and report any issues to management. Every day, you will make a measurable difference by helping save lives through safe and efficient transport of blood donations.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Blood Drive Operations: Help set up and take down mobile blood drives with ease and efficiency.
  • Manage Blood Transport: collaborate with your colleagues to safely transport and deliver blood and blood products from drives to ensure they reach their destination in top condition.
  • Assist and Serve: Provide excellent customer service to clients, donors, and team members by building strong partnerships and relationships with hospitals, drive sponsors, and our staff.  If the opportunity arises to interact with donors, create a welcoming and comfortable environment for them while ensuring safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Handle Various Tasks: Be ready to tackle additional tasks as they come up to support our team during the drive with a “can-do” approach to meet our mission of saving lives.
