Successful candidates will ensure sales goals and annual revenue are achieved and exceeded for our Blood Services, Laboratory Services and Clinical Services areas. Key to these roles will be the oversight and execution of annual sales plans, providing optimal customer service delivery to NYBC customers, and serving as the lead organizational contact for all designated accounts. In addition, you will provide daily management for assigned accounts, promote/increase services offered to existing customers, and identify new business opportunities. Sales territiory will be NYC/Long Island.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, health administration or related field, supported by knowledge of hospital operations, and five years of direct experience in account management and direct sales (healthcare, customer service, pharmaceuticals and/or medical sales experience preferred). Knowledge of medical technology and medical terminology will be expected, as will a valid driver’s license, knowledge of CRM (i.e. salesforce, contract management system), and the ability to effectively build relationships to develop new business opportunities. Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, leadership, presentation, problem-solving, organizational and PC (MS Office Suite) skills are all essential. Must be able to travel.
