    This position will be responsible for initiating, implementing and maintaining a variety of recruitment strategies and community outreach activities with a focus on ongoing and upcoming research studies and related projects at the site.


    Responsibilities include:


    • Implementing recruitment strategies, preparing action goals, and schedules and identifying venues
    • Providing weekly status updates on recruitment activities
    • Maintaining regular contact with interested agencies, even when recruitment for a specific study is not underway
    • Updating project staff regularly on recruitment activities and liaise with other staff on recruitment efforts
    • Working with study team to complete data collection, timely data input, program evaluation and development, and reporting of results
    • Performing a variety of administrative tasks to include running and preparing various reports, conducting mailings, and maintaining contact lists


    To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health, or closely related field, along with 1 years of experience in outreach activities, public speaking and giving presentations. The ability to interact with the public, provide prompt and courteous service to diverse community in all forms of communication.  The ability to understand ongoing recruitment data and use to modify recruitment plan and strategies with the ability to assess study participant conditions. Familiarity with a variety of software applications (MS Office Suite) and social media tools (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) are all essential.
