    As a key member of our team, you will create, design, develop, deliver and evaluate e-learning programs and instructor-led classes for diverse NYBC employee groups.

    Responsibilities include:


    • Developing engaging, high quality training programs and materials through graphic design, video production, animation and sound.
    • Working with subject matter experts/stakeholders and other personnel in identifying and developing course content and learning needs within required timeframes.
    • Performing needs analysis to determine organizational needs and consults and working with sponsors to develop training strategy.
    • Coordinating with affiliate training groups to develop enterprise-wide online courses and associated training materials.
    • Designing and implementing evaluation strategies for measuring the success of training programs.
    • Reviewing commercially produced training materials to ensure they meet organizational standards and identifying vendors that meet needs in a cost-efficient manner.
    • Maintaining communication with training stakeholders and building collaborative partnerships with customers.
    • Responding to and resolving LMS end user issues related to training.
    • Working closely with electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) Administrators to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues as they arise.
    • Determining ways to optimize LMS capabilities within the eQMS.
    • Maintaining records related to training.
    • Developing and delivering instructor led (live) courses as needed including workshops related to LMS capabilities for a variety of audiences.
    • Conducting periodic reviews of existing courses to ensure content is relevant and accurate.


    To qualify you must have a Bachelors’ Degree in Education, education related field, English, Communications or other related area, along with 3+ years’ experience developing professional training content, instructional system design, and e-learning training programs. Experience working in healthcare, blood banking, laboratory or related environment is desirable but not required. In depth knowledge of SCORM technologies and eLearning development (authoring) tools (such as Captivate, Articulate, Storyline) will be expected, as will the ability to create, produce and edit software for video content for high quality course materials (Adobe or equivalent). Superior organizational, oral/written communication, and PC (MS Office Suite) skills are essential.
