    Successful candidate will perform advanced complex research activities to complete science-based projects and work independently to plan procedures and implement new methods/technologies for project advancement.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Planning, setting-up and performing advanced complex research activities
    • Collecting research data and ensuring precision, accuracy and reproducibility of data
    • Receiving tissue bank samples from MPN Research Consortium clinical sites
    • Processing tissues and cryopreserve
    • Distributing tissues to MPN Research Consortium research laboratories
    • Maintaining detailed accurate records of tissue accrual and distribution
    • Reviewing and maintaining accurate inventory labeling and data
    • Assisting in the daily operation of the cellular therapy laboratory
    • Handling other related functions as necessary



    • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physical Sciences
    • 5+ years of advanced experience in a research or clinical lab
    • Advanced knowledge of basic and complex scientific and laboratory techniques
    • Ability to work independently, summarize experimental outcomes, and perform highly complex research activities
    • Ability to identify and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems within established policies and procedures
    • Working knowledge of quality and safety control standards
    • Superior analytical, problem-solving, planning and organizational skills
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
