As a key member of our team, you will support translational projects within Comprehensive Cell Solutions (CCS), which includes the Translational and Cellular Therapy Laboratories. This role will collaborate with laboratories to transfer, develop, and implement methodologies to produce translational products. Activities may include performance of experimental work designed to lead to the implementation of manufacturing and assay methods for cell therapy products that are new to CCS’s portfolio of services, as well as the processing and cryopreservation of cellular therapy products.
To qualify, you must have a Bachelors’ Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or Physical Science or biological science, along with 1-2 years’ experience working in a Cellular Therapy, Clinical or Research Laboratory. NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician License and ASCP are preferred. Knowledge of Aseptic/Sterile technique, quality control procedures, and FDA/NYSDOH regulations and AABB/FACT standards will be expected, as will familiarity with good manufacturing practice guidelines for cell therapy clinical trials, and knowledge of processing, purging, cryopreserving, thawing and preparing cellular therapy products for infusion/transplantation. Excellent mathematical, problem-solving, organizational and PC skills are a must.
