We are currently seeking an individual with a working knowledge of General Accounting and Accounts Receivable processes to manage the daily application of cash for multiple organizations and customer accounts within the A/R system. Successful candidate will provide assistance with collections and billing functions.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Applying cash to customer accounts
  • Balancing the sub ledger to the general ledger and verifying the daily deposits
  • Making adjustments to customer accounts to accurately reflect invoice balances
  • Reconciling cash applications in accounts receivable system to billing system and customer portal to ensure accurate posting of customer statements
  • Reconciling monthly aging report to billing system
  • Contacting customers about short payment or payments in question
  • Assisting with collections and customer billing as needed
  • Preparing various reports and lists
  • Assisting with projects
  • Handling other related functions as assigned


To qualify, you must have an Associate Degree (Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred), along with 3 years’ experience in A/R, solid cash application skills, and the ability to research and resolve issues and effectively communicate with customers. Knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes, with expertise in cash application and collections is essential, as is familiarity with MS Office Suite and ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be expected, as will superior oral/written communication, organizational, multitasking and customer service skills. Experience with Oracle A/R or similar ERP system highly desirable.
