Responsibilities

As a key member of our team,

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Work with department Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand instructional documentation needs
  • Create drafts and final versions of SOPs and other process related documents that meet department (customer) requirements
  • Safeguard that procedures are written to assure operational efficiency, adherence to standards and regulations, and are user friendly
  • Ensure consistency in process documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation, streamline the creation and revision processes
  • Collaborate with the NYBC Document Management System (MasterControl) to ensure documents are processed, routed, and released on time and error free
  • Collaborate closely with team members in Document Management and Training to bring instructional documents to various audiences

Qualifications

To qualify, it is preferred you hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Writing, Communications or related work experience equivalent. Two years’ experience in a technical writing and experience with scientific healthcare is a plus.
