This position is responsible for performing experiments by following established protocols.

• Performing cell culture, flow cytometry sample process and analysis.
• Processing human samples and isolating various lymphocyte and monocyte subsets.
• Processing murine blood and tissue samples.
• Managing mouse colonies, including genotyping.
• Managing laboratory resources, ordering reagents and other lab supplies as needed.
• Makes recommendations for improvements on organizational processes and practices.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree of medical or biological sciences is required.

Experience:

Prior experience with human primary immune cell culture, complex flow cytometry analysis, and mouse handling is preferred.

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $46,000.00 p/yr. to  $56,000.00 p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
