The Senior Director of Business Development at New York Blood Center Enterprises will be responsible for owning and driving the sales function for the Cell and Gene Therapy Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services. As the primary customer-facing representative, the Senior Director will strategically promote and drive the adoption of Comprehensive Cell Solutions (CCS) services, and lead efforts to acquire development and manufacturing contracts. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with a team of operational and technical experts, managing relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure successful project onboarding and continued client satisfaction.
This individual will also play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and negotiating contracts with potential clients. The Senior Director will focus on fostering long-term client relationships, supporting the company’s growth goals, and ensuring a seamless transition from sales to service delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of the cell and gene therapy space, the CDMO market, and client needs, along with the ability to execute a high-touch, customer-focused sales process.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed annual salary is $150,000.00p/yr. to $160,000.00p/yr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
