This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient, timely delivery and pick-up of blood and blood products by directing workflow management, overtime management and driver productivity. Works to ensure that all collection locations operate on time and are well stocked with all of the supplies and equipment required for a successful drive.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred.
Experience:
Three years of experience in directing staff, office management or dispatcher is required.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of DOT regulations (hours of service).
Knowledge of computerized and mobile communication systems.
Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hourly salary is $30.00 p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
