This position is part of an enterprise-wide law department responsible for providing paralegal support to the attorneys and Senior Executive Director.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulations, guidelines, practices and policies.
• Assist in Law Department operations including contract administration, training, litigation support, investigations, invoices, supplies and office organization.
• Work with internal and external counsel to gather documents and information in response to subpoenas and discovery requests.
• Manage all files/documents onsite, in the offsite storage facility and electronically and maintains adequate inventory of all incoming/outgoing documents.
• Maintain Law Department files in accordance with applicable record retention protocols.
• Assist in preparation of board and other meeting materials.
• Respond to governmental, regulatory and medical/employment information requests by researching and gathering the responsive information.
• Participates in meetings and committees as needed.
• Makes recommendations for improvements of business unit’s processes and practices.
• Works on special projects as assigned.
• Any related duties as assigned.

For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate is $36.00p/hr. to $40.00p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
